Universal Transshipment Complex 'Primorsky' |
Geographically the Universal Transshipment Complex 'Primorsky' will be located in the northeastern part of the Gulf of Finland in the vicinity of the Strait of Björkösund at a distance of 1.5km from the sea commercial port of Primorsk and 6 km from the railway station of Ermilovo. The main competitive advantage of the complex is it's natural depths of over 18 meters, which allows the reception of ships with an extreme draught possible in the Baltic See – 16 m. This advantageously distinguishes UTC 'Primorsky' from the main neighboring ports of the Gulf of Finland with extreme draughts: Saint Petersburg – 11.0 m; Vyborg – 6.5m; Bronka – 13.5 m; Ust-Luga – 13.0 m; Helsinki – 13.5 m; Kotka – 14.5m.
