基础设施是一个为社会生产和居民生活提供公共服务的物质工程设施。交通、通讯、下水道、水力、电力系统等等都是基础设施的一部分，基础设施的建立及完善虽然需要高成本的投入，然而它们却是城市赖以生存的基本条件，其对于国家或地区社会经济活动正常进行、发展及繁荣起着至关重要的作用。对于基础设施的相关项目开发，可以通过政府融资、民间融资或通过政府与民间合作的方式进行。

在全球的竞争愈加激烈的当下，能使公司保持足够竞争力并在市场竞争中胜人一筹的唯一方式是积极采纳联合创新模式，联合创新模式不仅能促进公司间的协调发展，而且通过融合不同公司的独特创造性、发展经验及各自拥有的资源，从而形成新的发展理念，创造出新的价值，以取得一个双赢甚至多赢的最佳效果。

亚太基础设施协会的成立也是基于此理念，协会为会员提供了一个很好的交流想法、产生新思路并相互得益的平台，为大公司及企业创造最佳的协同效应，促进跨国、跨地区公司间的商务合作良好及持续的发展。

主张

我们的目标是在亚太地区为会员提供一个能够寻找到最合适、协作价值最高的商业合作伙伴的平台，并为其提供一站式的项目投标及咨询服务。另外，协会也将利用其对行业现有的研究基础及大量的研究报告、刊物资源来对当前市场走向以及影响其走向的重要因素进行分析及研究，以鉴别出具有增长潜力的发展区域，为会员进行商务合作及投资提供更好的咨询和服务。

Infrastructure is the basic physical systems of a business or nation; transportation, communication, sewage, water and electric systems are all examples of infrastructure. These systems tend to be high-cost investments; however, they are vital to a country's economic development and prosperity. Projects related to infrastructure improvements may be funded publicly, privately or through public-private partnerships.

The global environment is becoming increasingly competitive. The only way for companies to keep ahead of the competition is to embrace joint innovation efforts. Collaborative innovation drives growth and creates value by letting companies combine creativity, experience and resources to spur better ideas. APINA is a platform for the cross-pollination of ideas and generating leads, providing a space for large corporation and entrepreneurs to discover synergy and collaborate.

Advocacy

Our simple approach is to provide a platform for companies to find synergistic value amongst one another and together, providing a one-stop-solution to pitch or to bid for projects in Asia Pacific.  In addition, the association will harness resources from a wide variety of publications for highlighting issues that impact on business and to identify growth area.
